GL structured thermoelectric coolers are applied increasingly as cooling elements. The reliability has gotten better, so that use for dehumidifying and temperature control is expanding.
Common specifications of GL-II thermoelectric coolers

3.Lead wire: UL, PVC wire
4.Sealing: KE347(Shinetsu Silicone) or similar products are applied on side of thermoelectric coolers.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- ●Ensure that the Th side does not exceed 100℃. (Maximum temperature recommended for radiating side)
- ●If it is dropped or mechanically impacted, it may be damaged. Please handle with care.
- ●The performance cannot be achieved if the flatness of the heat exchanger in contact with the Peltier module is poor. As a rough guide, perform machining with a flatness of 0.02 mm or less.
- ●Apply a thin layer of thermally conductive silicone grease to the Peltier module surface and the heat exchanger surface.
- ●Use at maximum voltage and maximum current is not efficient. It is recommended that the maximum voltage and maximum current be about 70% as a guide.
- ●Avoid control methods that rapidly reverse polarity in use because they shorten the life of the module.
- ●With the exception of TEC2-B15828NC, silicone seals (equivalent to Shin-Etsu silicone and KE347) have been made on the side. Note, however, that water and moisture proofing measures are incomplete with side seals only.
- ●The maximum compressive load of is 1 MPa.
